Heavenly Yams!

3 cups boiled, peeled yams, mashed
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 eggs
Mix above ingredients together well and place in baking dish.

Topping: 
1/2 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Mix everything, except pecans together and pour on top of yam mixture. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.  Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes.  The last 15 minutes take the foil off to brown the top.  This is so delicious and almost tastes like a dessert!
