Good Dessert

Crust/Topping:

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup chopped walnuts 

2 cups crispy rice cereal

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup coconut

 

Filling:

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream (buy in rectangular carton)

 

Sauce:

1 package Danish Dessert strawberry flavor

1 pound sliced and diced strawberries

 

Mix sugar and butter until well mixed.  Stir in nuts, cereal and coconut.  Pat 3/4 of the mixture evenly in 9 x 13 inch pan.  Slice ice cream evenly and place on top of crust.  Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over ice cream.  Freeze.  Make Danish dessert according to directions for sauce.  Add strawberries.  Cut dessert in squares and top with sauce.
