This has become a Halloween tradition! We buy the smallest medium sized pumpkin we can find, cut the top off and gut it. Then, we bake it with the "lid" on and totally empty for about 1 hour. Once it's cooked, we add this mixture to the filling.
One of our favorite parts, is to let the kids decorated the pumpkin with a magic marker before baking.
This cake has a not-so-secret ingredient that will make you crazy for chocolate cake-mayonnaise! We love the moist cake and yummy, rich cream cheese frosting. We thought this would be perfect to introduce to you right before Mother's Day. Maybe this can be a new family tradition. We got this delicious recipe from our Southern Living magazine!

It's one of our favorites!
Creamy, delicious, easy to make and perfect. What more do you need in a yummy dessert? The most important ingredient? Chocolate!
This is one recipe you'll want to try (over and over again)! Perfect for Mother's Day or any day!
My family called this dessert "Good Dessert" and for a good reason!
Hot fruity sauce over cold ice cream. What could be better? Not much!
And, I have to say that I'm not much of a fruity person when it comes to sauces. But, I love this!
One of my favorite treats as a kid. So easy to make and fun! I've been told it tastes like fried ice cream (one treat I've never had).
This dessert can be made and eaten shortly after. You don't need to thaw the icecream to put the dessert together. In my opinion, it takes so much better when the ice cream is frozen solid and the sauce is hot. Yum!
Tip: I've noticed that Danish Dessert is mostly only sold in the Northwestern parts of the United States. If you can't find it in stores, check amazon. In the stores, it's next to pie fillings or jello.
We'd love to hear if you make it!

One of our favorites! We had this meal for dinner this week and my husband said it was one meal he wouldn't mind repeating often.
My aunt gave us this recipe. It has been one of my favorites!
Hope you enjoy!
If you're a bit intimidated by yeast or don't want to spend the time to let it rise, this recipe is for you!
This is a family recipe from my aunt we have made over and over again. We almost always have the basic ingredients on hand. We've even substituted barbeque sauce for the sauce to change things up a bit. If you try this, we would love a tag! @jaynesamanthajs #inspirefuntraditions
